So far, 2019 has been a year of big changes at our orthodontic practice. Most notable to you will be our name changing from Sturgill & Storie Orthodontics to Sturgill Orthodontics. Why? Well, our very own Dr. David Storie is retiring after decades of perfecting smiles as a Tri-Cities orthodontist. Dr. Sturgill said it best: “I have been so fortunate to take over the Norton and Johnson City orthodontic practice from such an amazing doctor and individual. While the team, the patients and I will miss seeing him every day, we’re genuinely thrilled that he’ll be able to spend more time with his family.”
Although Dr. Storie may be retiring, he will always be part of the practice. In fact, the team looks forward to having him in the office for occasional visits and to fill in whenever Dr. Sturgill must step away for life events. This will ensure we can maintain continuity of care for our patients. Plus, it will give everyone a chance to catch up!
Dr. Storie’s retirement and our new name aren’t the only important updates either. We’ve also begun remodeling our office! Dr. Sturgill felt it was time to refresh the space so that it better served our patients. Our new state-of-the-art office will further our mission of offering comfortable, family-friendly, cutting-edge care. Among the updates will be an expanded coffee bar with soda water on tap, extensive coffee and tea selections, and glass coffee mugs. Our goal is to make our patients feel like they’re at home during their appointments. We want parents to find a few minutes to relax, read a book, or get some work done while their child is having their orthodontic adjustment.
While there will be changes at the practice, one fact will remain the same: our commitment to providing exceptional care and service in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
